This book left me swooning and smiling
Revisado: 02-28-24
Denise is one of my auto-buy authors and frankly always will be.
Technically Yours was so full of angst and yearning, breaking my heart through flashbacks but making me swoon with present day reunions and happenings. She’s given us to delightful characters who yearn for each other but tackle life so differently that we’re left on the edge of our seat waiting for walls to be broken and hearts to be mended.
The world building here is great with characters we’ve grown to love from previous books, each being a wonderful community of familiarity and ease.
This book left me swooning and smiling, absolutely in love with this couple and just happy to have stepped back into one of her books.

Historia
Echo knew that being caught by a ruling Berserker would mean becoming his pawn, a plaything to be used for her powers. That wouldn’t be her fate. She’d rather run lost through the woods forever, dangerous though they may be. But there’s something even more sinister than beasts and Berserkers lurking in the woods. Something both undead and deadly. She can’t fight it alone. She’ll have to turn to the Berserker who’s caught the trail of her scent and won’t let it go. He says she’s his. She says never. He says forever.

author took the omegaverse genre and molded it to her own
Revisado: 02-28-24
Honestly I don’t know where to start with this but I’ll be real plain. I loved this book. It really blew my mind and dug into the remnants of it. I wasn’t sure what to expect and jumped head first and loved every moment of it.
We have a whole dystopian world filled with complex characters, amazing lore, omegaverse pairings, and a love story of two people who are perfect for each other because of their flaws and imperfections.
The author really took the omegaverse genre and molded it to her own to give us such a gritty and unforgiving world that is turned on its head. The lore and magic being built here is delightful as well as the dynamic between our main characters who struggle with their designations, their past, and the uncertain future with the crushing pressure of the expectation and society they currently live in. It was all woven so well for me here, never truly giving me a moment to feel overwhelmed with the overarching story and giving wonderfully intimate moments filled with spice, angst, and a budding relationship. The dual POV works so well here and had me swooning over Echo and Adam the whole book.

A new favorite

I wasn’t expecting to fall in love with this book since it took me a while to get on the side of the FMC but by the end I was fully invested and enamored with their story.
It’s so much fun. A new favorite. I can’t wait to get through the rest of the series.

Delightfully Charming
Revisado: 03-14-23
I absolutely loved this book! It was super fun and cute with just enough angst and self sabotaging. I fell in love with both main characters as well as their less than perfect but perfectly perfect representation and am excited with set up for the next.
