I could NOT put this down!!! I completed both box sets within 2 weeks!
I raved on in the review of the first box set so, I won't do it here. Best author EVER! Love the characters and twists in the story.
I don't know what I'll do without more of Joe...🙁
I stumbled on this series and took a chance. Not the least bit disappointed. Quite the opposite. ❤️

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE

I stumbled on this series after listening to another series narrated by Tim Campbell. I searched Tim Campbell (love his deep and very sexy. calming voice). I thought after reading the book details it sounded like a good series.
I have not been disappointed in the least. I have NOT stopped listening. All day and night!
Scott Pratts casts of characters are absolutely 💯 so well written and I'm addicted to them. I will be horribly sad when Joe's story comes to the end.
The stories are written brilliantly with vivid characters and the ups and downs of life. I have been moved to tears over the relationship Joe has with his wife and the intense love he feels for her and his family.
I know that Mr Pratt is no longer with us, my deepest condolences to the family.
I am so grateful for the wonderful books he has left with us.
I hope that his family will be able to see my post and know that these are by far the best stories I've ever listened to or read. What a talented writter he was.
I will continue to read EVERYTHING he's written or been a part of writing.
If there are by chance, any more books by his son or brother, they will also be come a part of my library.
God bless his family and hopefully the writing legacy will continue.
oh, and don't change narrators.. Tim is excellent!!

The narrator is absolutely perfect portraying Nick. Love his voice and the way he plays the character ❤️
It's a drag when authors change narrators. More bugman and Seth, please!!

This was my first Lisa Jewell book and now I'm hooked!
I loved each character and the love of a family one for another. Warm and genuine. And Alice.. what an absolutely lovely person. Humorous and sad but wonderfully written. Narrator was absolutely wonderful ❤️

I'm not finished yet. Only on chapter 10. So far I like it okay but, the narrator is making it difficult to finish. I don't know why it is necessary for narrators to try and do different characters voices but, OMG this narrator is the worst at trying to do a man's voice. Michael sounds like a 90 year old man trying to talk. It is absolutely horrid!!
It may as well have been a male narrator doing a woman's voice.
As the author I'd be mortified by it.
That's the reason I only gave 3 stars so far. If I finish the book I will review again on overall and story. The performance won't change. She is okay, but NEVER should she do any male characters again. I'm not sure how old Michael is supposed to be but... omg!

Found myself stealing moments at work just to hear what was going to happen next!
