So slow…
Revisado: 07-15-23
I found this book to move at a snails pace and actually really boring. I listened to the whole thing, hoping there would be a suspenseful moment or a big twist, but it fell really flat with me. Should’ve returned it. The narrator did a great job though.

Historia
Jane and William are enjoying their honeymoon at an exclusive couples-only resort…until Jane receives a chilling note warning her to “Beware of the couple at the table nearest to yours.” At dinner that night, five other couples are present, and none of their tables is any nearer or farther away than any of the others. It’s almost as if someone has set the scene in order to make the warning note meaningless—but why would anyone do that?

Pretty boring…
Revisado: 02-11-23
I received this title as a gift. I got through 5 chapters and was really kind of bored by it. I contacted audible to return it for a credit, but they said no way. Pretty slow moving and I didn’t care about any of the characters. The narrator was fine.

Historia
Josie and her children's father have split up, she's been sued by a former patient and lost her dental practice, and she's grieving the death of a young man senselessly killed. When her ex asks to take the children to meet his new fiancée's family, Josie makes a run for it, figuring Alaska is about as far as she can get without a passport. Josie and her kids, Paul and Ana, rent a rattling old RV named the Chateau, and at first their trip feels like a vacation.

Not what I expected
Revisado: 06-02-17
This is probably my fault, but I was expecting more of an adventure story. It wasn't that at all. I wasn't at all invested in the main character. It was just a boring book, in my opinion, that didn't really go anywhere. Thumbs down.
