Historia
You were someone before pregnancy and parenthood - but where did that person go? Motherhood is a gift of unimaginable love and happiness. But in between playdates and naptime, you can’t help but miss certain things from your old life...and answering to your real name instead of “Mom”. The identity collision of becoming a mother can leave you scrambling to reinvent yourself. With the glory of motherhood comes unexpected emotions of anger, anxiety, and even postpartum depression, as new responsibilities provide new challenges.

Perfect for school pick up!
Revisado: 11-10-21
I got this book recommendation from the @healthybalancedmompod podcast and since I can’t catch a break from my kids to actually read a book, I decided to listen to it here. Chapters are short which works great for me because I don’t usually have hours at a time. The book is very funny, very relatable and very sincere. I really loved this book!

Historia
Jared Diamond says that 25 years ago he met a politician in what is now Papua New Guinea, Yali, who asked why white people had so many things, but black people did not. The book attempts to provide answers to the question: Why have Eurasian people been the dominant wealth and power in the world? That is, why didn't other cultures gain dominance before 1,500 CE? After all, until the end of the most recent Ice Age, circa 11,000 BCE, all humans were hunter-gatherers.

Editing error about 45 min into the book

Is there anything you would change about this book?
I suggest the narration gets revised because there is a big error in the narration about 45 min into the book. The narrator stops coughs practices his line and continues reading.
