Great potential!

I kept going my with this series but I might have to stop here. I kept thinking they will stop spending 90 percent of the time in dungeons with same people and same thing happening every book so far. Go into dungeon kill things get skills and get rare floor. That is repeated constantly. Also for a black skill his party somehow keeps up with him? Ugh. I was so excited for this series to take off but it looks like it never will.

I love this series, but the new narrator is overly emotional, awkwardly groans, and is terribly cringy. It’s so bad it pulls you right out of the story.

Done Well

This book has made it to my A list. I like the way they did a male and female reader. I think they could have done a little better reading but the story did all the heavy lifting. If your looking for a book to use your credit on then get this.
Other books I really liked are below so you get a feel if your taste matches mine. Buryoku, Cradle, Defiance of the Fall, Dungen Crawler Carl, He who fights with monsters, Solo Leveling, Ten Realms, The Beginning After the End, are some of the ones I really enjoy.

So many fantasy books you read the main character spends the entire story finding his abilities. It was nice to see the main character start with his abilities and see what he does with them. Instead of having a single chapter at the end of the other books with his full abilities. The quick change of point of view was also a nice change. Felt like a movie where you have the dialog and thoughts of that person in the moment instead of just one point of view for the chapter or story. Was a nice change and a great story as of now. Very well read and produced also. Looking forward to book 2.
