Great start. Boring middle. Awesome ending!
Revisado: 03-27-17
I listened to this book out of order. Liked the beginning but the middle was sooooo boring. It felt like it was there to fill up space. So I skipped to the ending. Then I went back and listened to the middle and end again. Really enjoyed that ending. Too bad it was so boring in the middle. Oh, the make narrator was really great! The female narrator was horrible. I hated the way she made the Monkey sound.

Enjoyed the story. Hated the Narrator.
Revisado: 03-27-17
Narrator does not enunciate his words. He sucks. I love Tim Lebbon but scrap the narrator! This is a slow start book. It doesn't get good until the last fourth of the book. If you can stick with it you'll enjoy the ending. Only disappointment was all the hype about The Core. Sending a message to The Core-- only for them to have virtually no purpose in the battle. Seriously, they didn't do anything. Lame.

Historia
Voyagers Nomi Hyden and Ramus Rheel would be mortal enemies if their lives and fates weren't so closely entwined. But now the unlikely pair are brought together for what will be their greatest - and perhaps final - journey. When a grim wanderer named Ten arrives with an ancient parchment he claims to have brought back from the Divide, its arcane glyphs hint at the existence of a realm most consider a myth...and at something amazing sleeping there.

The narrator is distracting!
Revisado: 03-27-17
I had trouble understanding this narrator. I stuck with it and listened to the entire book but the narrator does not in enunciate many words. It wasn't just me. My daughter tried listening to eat and she made the same comment. I hadn't even mentioned it to her. I don't know if I would have liked the book better if there was a different narrator.
