Finally Got to Finish a Series I started 5 years Ago

Bray's performance is outstanding, as usual. I enjoyed this book a lot. Solid post-apocalyptic story with a fitting ending. I'd recommend to anyone that's a fan of the genre.

The Mountain Man series is easily my favorite post-apocalyptic, zombie saga. I've been side by side w the everyman, bumbling, heart-of-gold and savage Gus since day 1.
Skull world will give fans of the MM series everything they want. Loads of humor, gore, and character building abound in this story and Blackmore crosses every T and dots every I.
Knowing that this is, most likely, our last adventure w Gus is bittersweet. While I'm sad we won't get a new story, I am grateful and very pleased with the last book.
Bray executes flawlessly. Somehow blending a detached narrator and emotional characters incredibly well. The man deserves a premium for narration services.
All in all 10/10.

Cool Take on the Zombie Apocalypse

I liked this book series. I appreciated the novel take on the familiar zombie/infected apocalyptic scenario. we get some monsters,mutants and bad ass survivors in this series.

Fantastic Post Apocalyptic Series

Props to Jason Brant for writing and fantastic series in a genre that is filled to the brim.
Cons - Main Protagonist is BEYOND LUCKY. He has a great arc but some of the close calls are eye rolling.
Pros - EVERYTHING ELSE. The story is a great middle ground of, say, Mountain Man and Extinction Cycle. It balances action, gore and humor w horror and dread. Brant pulls it off w/o the series becoming too depressing.
The main female protagonist, Cass, is a BADASS. She is strong, funny and very likeable. Easily my favorite character. In fact, it was cool how capable all the main female characters are.
The infected are cool and imaginative. They are a great danger that are always looming in the background and ready to kill.
All in all I really enjoyed the series. Highly recommend.

Not what and better than I expected

performance was amazing. the narrators were brilliant and really brought the story to life.

The story was pretty good but I'll be damned if I wasn't dying to know more about the 2 pig faced killers.

WHY ISNT THIS A MOVIE?!?

This book is FANTASTIC. I didn't think I was going to like it at first, as I didn't know this was a sequel bc it came w the free catalog, but WOW. This needs to be a movie or Netflix series at least. It is a beautifully written and paced action story about brotherly love and humanity on the brink. If you like apocalyptic type stories and/or sci-fi, GET THIS BOOK

A humorous and surprisingly poignant EOTW novel

Ray Porter is a god amongst narrators so nuff said. This book is actually kind of deep, frequently funny and has a sprinkle of action in it to round it out. I would definitely recommend.

Great Story, Better Performance

I liked this book but I wanted to love it. It was well told with great characters and a unique premise. My only real issue was the few times that the story dragged on unnecessarily. Other than that, it was awesome.

Amazing!

I loved this book. It's smart, LOL funny and has great action. It flows fairly quickly and always held my attention. The narrator was GREAT and does an excellent job of oration from start to finish.
