Truly enjoyed this book. Looking forward to the next one in the series. Charles Martin has such a way of getting a deeper message across without ever making one feel like they are been preached at. He is a very talented writer.

Cute story but be warned.

The whole concept of the story was enjoyable. I almost stopped the book a few times to send back simply because of the curse words and unnecessary sexual references. I am not sure why some Authors think the use of the 'F' word makes a book more enjoyable. I find the use of profane language a huge turn off and will probably not listen to any of the authors other books simply for that reason.

I was really enjoying this book until the end. I loved the story line about the Mother and sister bond. I could relate having three sisters and having been personally impacted by Alzheimers disease in my family. It just seemed like the Author ended the story without finishing it. If there was a sequel I could almost get it but since that isn't the case it feels like she just got tired of writing so just said "the end". I was left very unsatisfied.

My life will never be the same after this book.

This book was absolutely fantastic. I have read other books that have had an impact on me and/or really got me thinking, but no other book has ever spoke to me and taught me as much as this one. This work was a work of Fiction but taught me more than any Non-Fiction teaching I have ever read. It taught me new ways to process hurts and healing. How to pray and read the bible. Part of it brought back things I learned when I attended "The Healing Journey" course. This was the first book in a four book series. I am currently listening to book two. I am going to purchase the study guide that goes with book one and have someone who has read the book and is willing to do a study with me. The last two books are not on Audio but am going to try and read them on Kindle. I would have never thought a book of fiction could ever touch me the way this book has. The Characters are so easy to fall in love with, laugh with, cry with and rejoice and praise the Lord when healing comes. I would highly recommend this book for anyone.

Fantastic story and very inspirational. Great story for any one dating or considering marriage. Written to glorify God and how God wants courtships to be.

There has to be more!!

I really enjoyed this book. The storyline had a great message of forgiveness and how when we become saved by Christ we can "start over". When I got to the end of the book I was like " there has to be a sequel". We never learned what the initials PJ stand for, which man she choose? Where does she end up living? Does she keep the new job?

Such great characters......... we need to know more!!!

Not a Christian Book

Both the book description and Author were listed as Christian Fiction. The book had swear words, premarital sex and many other things that a Christian has no desire to listen too. My first thought was maybe the Author wanted us to learn how the characters went from non-believers to becoming born again Christians and living a life for the Lord, but when that didn't happen after more then half way into the book I just gave up. If someone thinks just because they talk about prayer and praying that it makes them a Christian Author or book then that makes me very sad. If your a Karen Kingsbury, Terri Blackstock or Colleen Coble fan than chances are you will not like this book so don't waste your money. The only positive thing about this book was the Narrator who was very good.

Scripture filled story of hope and encouragement. As Christians we will face trouble. It is how we live through it that tells of our relationship with Christ.
