I like the relationship between Sneijder & Nemez and the way it has been developed. The way in which Sneijer conducts himself is very interesting.

I have been looking for an amazing story for a long time now. This is the one. It is a beautifully woven story with amazing characters in a multitude of styles. Satisfying and realistic.

Definitely worth the read!

Before I bought this audiobook, I read the reviews that had already been posted up to that point. One thing I look for when choosing a book to listen to, is the overall quality of the speaker. The reviews couldn't have been more glowing and I agree with them, Santino Fontana has an amazing narrative voice.
The story was inventive and kept me guessing. It was alive with an almost hyper realistic every and day feel to it. The characters are very vivid and for some reason, I felt as if I knew Peach, or someone very much like her and all of the cast of characters in the novel.

Do not miss this book!

It was a bit confusing at first to get all the players straight, because the voices were sort of similar. But it all came together.

Love this series of books!

What did you like best about this story?

I like the innovative plot lines and Kinsey Milhone's no non sense ways. It is refreshing and makes for a quickly paced and interesting read.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

About mid way through I had to keep on listening, marathon style.

The narrator is great! Judy Kaye is very versatile in her range of characters.

Would you consider the audio edition of The Grapes of Wrath to be better than the print version?

Haven't read the print version, somehow I made it through high school with out reading it. The audio recoding and narration are really good. I was really put off at first by the harmonica at the end of every chapter, but I got used to it and it actually enjoyed it. It was jarring at first and a LOT louder than the audio. Watch out if you are going to use ear buds! But somewhere during the production it blended in nicely.

What did you like best about this story?

I really like Steinbeck's denunciation of banks and The Man, as it were. It is like listening to an epitaph to the Age of Agriculture due to the advent of Technology. It is the original 'outsourcing of jobs' saga.

Have you listened to any of Dylan Baker’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have not, but will definitely try out another. He has a great range of voices and characters.

A Must Hear!

I am just one third of the way through this novel and I am already going to pieces, as it is making me very giddy.. Paver is skillfully weaving a most suspense ridden story while Northam's realistic reading, makes me not want to listen to it after night falls. That is quite significant to me, as I live on sunny St. Thomas, the complete opposite of Spitsbergen. Will update later.....
