Historia
For high-powered personal injury attorney Noah Byron, the good things in life come with a price tag - cars, houses, women. That's why he represents only cases that come with the possibility of a nice cut of the action. But as a favor to his ex-wife, he meets with the mother of twelve-year-old Joel, a boy poisoned by tainted children's medicine. While the official story is that a psycho tampered with bottles, the boy's mother believes something much more sinister is at work...and the trail leads right back to the pharmaceutical company.

One of John Grisham's Finest
Revisado: 10-30-20
It was one of the best John Grisham books! It brought up so many issues we face today and how there isn't any flexibility in the law for this situation. The situation was horrifying and is more common than one can imagine.
Through all the struggles of the trial that Jake encountered you couldn't love him more. The bond between him and is wife Carla was as strong as ever. The decision they made at the end of the book was purely LOVE at its finest.
I highly recommend this book! I would love to see this as a movie. It is that good!

Historia
In the fading town of Rooster, Texas, all that's really left is a service station, a church…and the Banty House, a long-ago Depression-era brothel. For more than seventy-five years, Betsy, Connie, and Kate Carson have called their mama's house a home. The three eccentric sisters get by just fine with their homemade jams and jellies, a little moonshine on the side, and big hearts always open to strangers. Like Ginger Andrews.

Years ago, Beth Lathrop and her sister Kate suffered what they thought would be the worst tragedy of their lives the night both the famous painting Moonlight and their mother were taken. The detective assigned to the case, Conor Reid, swore to protect the sisters from then on. Beth moved on, throwing herself fully into the art world, running the family gallery, and raising a beautiful daughter with her husband Pete. Kate, instead, retreated into herself and took to the skies as a pilot, always on the run.

Saving Each Other
Revisado: 06-02-20
Both woman and girl in situations difficult to get out of. The common thing they had was the love for Etta the 2 year old girl. It was also a story of how mothers can be to their children - Toxic. Lots of trust issues and so glad it worked out.

Connecting Bruised Hearts Together
Revisado: 05-30-20
It is a great story where each of the characters' hearts were bruised in some form, including Midnight the horse. It was a story I couldn't stop listening to. The story was delivered well. The author gave you the opportunity to look at your own bruised heart. The characters that surrounded the tragedy Sara had to deal with rallied around her and a wonderfully new friend who knew the importance of a bond between a girl and her horse.
