The story was fun with likable characters. I wonder how Alec ever solved a case without Daisey!

Historia
>In July of 1923, the Honorable Daisy Dalrymple travels to Henley-on-Thames to visit her aunt and uncle, as well as to work on her latest writing assignment: covering the Henley Royal Regatta for an American magazine. Daisy plans a simple trip researching her article, enjoying the races, and, come the weekend, having a pleasant time with her fiancé, Detective Chief Inspector Alec Fletcher of Scotland Yard. But the tensions between the Ambrose team's coxswain, Horace Bott - a shopkeeper's son and scholarship student at Oxford - and rower Basil DeLancey - the younger son of an earl and all-around bounder - are constantly threatening to erupt into violence.

Historia
Tommy Beresford and Prudence “Tuppence” Cowley are young, in love … and flat broke. Restless for excitement and facing a shortage of job opportunities in postwar London, they decide to embark on a daring business scheme: Young Adventurers Ltd.—“willing to do anything, go anywhere.” But they get more than they bargained for when their first assignment leads them into increasingly dangerous situations involving international spies, a Russian count, the wreck of the RMS Lusitania, an amnesia patient, and a fiendishly clever archcriminal known only as “Mr. Brown.”

Historia
Lavinia's annual Masked Ball at Mydworth Manor is a highlight of the season, as locals mingle with the great and famous from London. But the lavish party comes to a full stop when one of the guests is found dead down by the lake. It seems it's a clear case of a heart attack. But Harry and Kat suspect that the dead man in a mask was in fact the victim of a clever case of murder. And the killer's work at the party is not yet done... Nathaniel Parker, born in 1962, graduated from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art and went on to join the Royal Shakespeare Company.

Historia
When a prominent family's daughter flees sleepy Sussex to seek a career on the stages of a glittering West End, Harry and Kat are asked to check in on the young woman. But the two of them soon discover that there is a much bigger danger to the woman and her family than mere acting dreams being crushed. Nathaniel Parker, born in 1962, graduated from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art and went on to join the Royal Shakespeare Company. His television career began in 1988 when he played Flying Officer 'Flash' Gordon in the LWT mini-series "Piece of Cake".

Historia
Spring is in the air...and so, too, is the sound of music as the residents of Honeychurch Hall are stunned to learn that the Dowager Countess Lady Edith Honeychurch has agreed to the staging of a production of The Merry Widow in the dilapidated grand ballroom. Fears that the fiercely private octogenarian must be going senile are soon dismissed when our heroine Kat Stanford learns that the favor is a result of a desperate request from Countess Olga Golodkin.

Missed Opportunity
Revisado: 08-24-22
I'm a big fan but felt let down. The story moved too slowly. Kat and Shawn's hot and cold romance was a let down. Kat was portrayed as fickle and immature for being 40 something. Iris sounded desperate. I do love the series and am waiting for others in the HoneyChurch Hall mysteries.
