Historia
A year after Germany's defeat, Gregor Reinhardt has been hired back onto Berlin's civilian police force. The city is divided among the victorious allied powers, but tensions are growing, and the police are riven by internal rivalries as factions within it jockey for power and influence with Berlin's new masters. When a man is found slain in a broken-down tenement, Reinhardt embarks on a gruesome investigation.

My favorite in the series
Revisado: 01-17-20
I like the historical context and the flow of the story. Perhaps the story wrapped up a little to neatly, but characters had depth that I enjoyed.

Historia
The army does not want you to listen to this book. It does not want to advertise its detention system that coddles enemy fighters while putting American soldiers at risk. It does not want to reveal the new lawyered-up Pentagon war ethic that prosecutes US soldiers and marines while setting free spies who kill Americans. This very system ambushed Captain Roger Hill and his men.

War with Aliens who understand Jacksonian leanings

All three volume space operas - this is the resolution installment
What about Mark Boyett’s performance did you like?
Narration performance was excellent

Historia
When Muslim fundamentalists blow up a key Soviet oil complex, making an already critical oil shortage calamitous, the Russians figure they are going to have to take things into their own hands. They plan to seize the Persian Gulf, and more ambitiously, to neutralize NATO. Thus begins Red Storm, an audacious gamble that uses diplomatic maneuver to cloak a crash military build-up.

Goes beyond Wild Weasel experience in Viet Nam
Revisado: 10-13-15
Would you listen to The Hunter Killers again? Why?
Yes, but was expecting more specific treatment of Wild Weasel. General perspectives on the war are thoughtful and even handed.
