Every Sharp novel is amazing. How Bernard Cornwell keeps delivering story after story blows my mind. And the narration is the perfect fit, story after story, character after character!

Historia
From the Audie-nominated narrator of The Martian. In eleven years' time, a million members of an alien race will arrive at Earth. Years before they enter orbit, their approach will be announced by the flare of a thousand flames in the sky, their ships' huge engines burning hard to slow them from the vast speeds needed to cross interstellar space. These foreboding lights will shine in our night sky like new stars, getting ever brighter until they outshine even the sun, casting ominous shadows and banishing the night until they suddenly blink out.

Breathtaking
Revisado: 11-05-19
A got into sci-fi because of Audible. Short story, because of a 10 hour drive alone. On that drive I started with Neale Stephenson’s Seveneves. My mind was blown and straight after I listened to Cryptonomicon and my mind was even blown so more. I realized there is a massive amount of books I have been deprived of
I have in almost 3 years devoured, listening 90% sci-fi.
I have realized though I don’t enjoy all sci-fi, obviously
But after I had finished everything of Neal Stephenson I was thinking that is probably the best of the best until I discovered Peter F Hamilton
I can never compare the two of them, because both do vast, interconnected, huge cast of characters, multiple stories, fascinating inventive new worlds, almost god(superhuman) like stories, but differently, and I love that.
This trilogy is absolutely mind blowing beautiful to experience. It takes its time and if you can’t appreciate it or don’t have the patience, it’s your problem

Revisado: 10-16-18
I’m fairly new to sci-fi and have been able to figure out what type of sci-fi I enjoy or am interested in. This was originally not the type of sci-fi I thought I would enjoy but I have been most absolutely blown away by this book and William Dufris’s performance. I have listened to him before reading cryptonomicon, which was probably one of the best books I’ve ever ‘read’, so that’s why I decided to get this book. I now I have 13 years of John Scalzi to catch up on. Thank you universe!!

The epic and highly anticipated conclusion to the listener-favorite series that had countless Audible listeners (and employees) hooked from the very first Bob - featuring, as always, a flawless performance from the inimitable Ray Porter. Being a sentient spaceship really should be more fun. But after spreading out through space for almost a century, Bob and his clones just can't stay out of trouble. They've created enough colonies so humanity shouldn't go extinct.

Revisado: 10-02-18
I have not read nearly enough sci-fi to give an expert opinion or write a stellar review, but I have read to many books to remember and I have fallen in love with audiobooks almost 2 years now, listening to Neale Stephenson’s Seveneves, so being unpolluted sci-fi wise, I just loved this trilogy on so many levels. I could not stop listening. Well done Dennis E. Taylor and Ray Porter!

Astounding
Revisado: 05-27-18
Anyone is allowed to have an opinion about a book they have read or listened to. When it concerns any book Neal Stephenson has written, that’s all it would be. An personal opinion. All of his books are astonishing feats of writing. A columnists, for say the New York Times, who review books, or any columnist, can also only comment or give his or her’s opinion on any of his books. Review or judge is not something they can even begin to do. It’s like the only person that can judge how good Muhammad Ali was, is someone that’s beaten him in a fight
