I really liked how the author incorporated a lot of nods to old spy stories. Some of them I remember reading when I was kid as well. But my favorite part was with the PhD hanging on the wall and what the PhD was for

My favorite part in this book was when the French guy gets a hold of the M-4 with the grenade launcher, grins, and says, " This will do some damage." I knew right there it was going to be really fun after that. I also liked the part where Jackson finally confronts and corners Lily's killer. The only thing that I didn't like was how there really wasn't any sort of update as to how the world was doing after the solar flares hit. I'm hoping that in the next book, Kyla will take some time to write in the story.

But after the violent theft of dangerous relics, with the only surviving guard claiming his attackers were "angels", Nina and Eddie are thrust back into action. Without their knowledge, though, Macy is approached by a mysterious group called the Knights of Atlantis - who want to recruit her.

Classic Nina and Eddie Story
Revisado: 08-17-23
What I enjoy the most about this series is how great a job the author does is mixing mythology with present day story , as well as all the problems a normal family/couple would have. This story definitely felt like a final tale for Eddie and Nina, but he could easily continue with Macy. My favorite part was how he wrapped up a few unanswered questions. Ones the reader may or may not have thought about right away, like what happened to two relics in two previous stories.

Great story, not so great narration
Revisado: 07-18-23
This is one of my favorite series. Now, I do realize the narrator has changed multiple times. It sounds weird at the start, but I get over it. Unfortunately, this narrator doesn't do a good job on voices, especially Eddie. He sounds like an old retired man. Most people don't sound like that on their 50th birthday. Other than that, the story was good. The ending was unexpected, but overall, I enjoyed it.

Another great Nina & Eddie Adventure
Revisado: 07-08-23
I really like how the author incorporated more of Nina's parents in this adventure. The story gave you a better insight on Nina's mom and what she was going through at different points in her life. The actual main story about Midas was interesting as well, as well as all the adventures Eddie and Nina went through. My favorite part was when Eddie finally couldn't hold in the profanity anymore and just let's it go. After all was said Nina was You feel better? That was super funny

Great Conclusion to loose ends
Revisado: 06-17-23
I really liked how the author wrapped up the loose ends that he left from previous books. They were obviously put there for this story, but it was a great ending to that part of Nina and Eddie adventure/story. Also, the narrator did a much better job on Nina's voice in this story compared to the previous one. I thought he really improved on his female voices

Great story, not so great narrator
Revisado: 06-13-23
The story was actually done really well, I really liked the ending. My only only complaint was the narrator and how he portrayed Nina's voice. It just sounded so masculine and not even close to a female voice. Overall it was enjoyable, just like I said I didn't like Nina's voice in this book

I thought the book started out great. continued to do well with plenty of action, but about the last 4 or 5 hours , I just couldn't stop listening.
