Hard to follow
Revisado: 09-20-22
I had a difficult time following this story. The story was not something I generally read. There were also some things that made no sense to me like he was spinning like a top and hit his head and blood was trickling down his neck. if he was upside down how did the blood go down his neck? the performance was pretty good. I did find some of it just boring to me. I am sorry it just was not a book for me.

A cozy/thriller mystery! The starry skies over New Mexico, the "Land of Enchantment", may hold secrets of their own. The Shoemakers and the Ferraros, on an extended camping trip, find themselves picking up a souvenir they don't want and taking sidetrips they didn't plan on.

Good story
Revisado: 02-28-22
It was a good story. such a scary situation to think something like this could actually happen. I have to admit that this story did not have the humor that I so enjoy with most of the other stories in the series. I like Mickey and his sense of humor which was missing due to the subject of course.
the performance was good especially with all the added characters involved.

Wrench and Lydia find their groove
Revisado: 02-19-22
Wrench and Lydia don't seem to fit. yet being mates and "perfect" for each other had them finding a way to fit. Lydia is all grace and wanting romance. Wrench is the opposite of grace and romance. He feels like he can do nothing right. Lydia wants Wrench but she is missing what she always dreamed. finally they accept the other and try to learn more about each other and come together to find what will work for them. Trouble comes to the island and they come together to figure out who is the hired trouble. Scarlet surprises everyone in this story.
I liked the performance except for the fact that Wrench's voice changed. it was a drastic change in my opinion. Also Lydias accent seemed to change as well. Ally's loud voice was hilarious.
I like the story and it was fun having a kid on the island for a change.

Historia
Geocaching isn't supposed to be about finding dead bodies. But when retiree Frannie Shoemaker goes camping, standard definitions don't apply. A weekend in a beautiful state park in Iowa buzzes with fund-raising events, a search for ninja turtles, a bevy of suspects, and lots of great food. But are the campers in the wrong place at the wrong time once too often?

I really enjoy these stories. The banter with the in-laws is hilarious. I just love how nosey they are and how they love finding new places to eat and enjoy nature . the stories are well written and fun to listen to.
the performance is spot on for this story.

Dragons and mermaids oh my!
Revisado: 01-16-22
Oh I liked this story. a dragon who finds his treasure in the form of a mate. how wonderful to be thought of as a treasure. The story is well written and I find myself rooting for the characters. the antics of the resort workers carries on in this story. its nice to build on those characters as well. first he saves her then she saves him and she finally admits that she can have a mate. there's A dragon fight so that is dangerous and builds excitement in the story. the things a mate does for the one they love.
the narrators stepped up their game in this version. the singing was pretty good. it was a fun addition to the audio portion. I still question the animals having accents different from the person. all in all I noticed a big improvement overall in the narrators. I enjoyed this story.
definitely worth listening to.

A great start to a great series
Revisado: 01-13-22
The stories have a lot of excitement and mystery. some romance and humor in them as well. I enjoyed all of the stories in this volume. I had read them a while ago and found them just as appealing in this collection. the additional stories helped add to the original stories.
the performance I enjoyed. what I would like to see is more consistency in the characters. from one chapter to the next the accents changed in a few places. also the accent in a brown bear was a bit wrong in my thoughts. not sure why the animals would have an accent from a foreign country when the person is American. with that being said, I did enjoy listening to the stories this time around.
definitely worth a listen!

This story is so good
Revisado: 09-01-21
I love the story. I like how Gizzelle gets to help teach how to shift and is so proud to be such a good teacher. the whole twin thing is so funny because silly Lynx can't be the mate to someone else's mate. Oh wait! They are twins! How could I have ever thought that they were the same person because clearly my mate is so much better looking then her identical twin! lol The humor in the otter bantor and her shifting and still having otter features is great especially when otter was laughing about her dilemma.
I rated the performance down a little because I felt that the male voice needs to be more into the sex scene. he just seemed like he was not thrilled to be reading it. I just would have liked to have heard some excitement instead I thought he felt embarrassed or blah.
I enjoyed listening to the story.

Historia
Anders Canyon is an unassuming little town where big things are afoot. As a science fiction writer, Francis does a lot of strange research on the internet, but he’s not sure he’s ever had to look up “I can turn into a dog.” It looks like his neighbor crush might be facing the same kind of transformation, but who can he trust when confessing the truth might get him put in a padded room, with or without a shock collar around his neck? A warning not to drink the local water is just the start of Julia’s trouble.

Become your own pet
Revisado: 08-04-21
Such a cute story. Some really funny lines. Like trying to get 4 legs to work at the same time. (something like that) calling out nipples for no reason. the itchy munchies! I really enjoyed the characters. I thought the male voice could have had a little more enthusiasm in parts. He was too serious for some of the humorous lines. the book also needed divided into chapters as it was one solid chapter. Overall I liked it a lot.
