Historia
Living in today's world can be challenging as well as draining. Our fast pace of life, coupled with constant demands to do more, get more, and be more, makes being still and living more deliberately in his presence seem unattainable. But God tells us that, while the cares of the world seem pressing now, we are not alone - we have lasting hope and peace in him.

The Jesus Storybook Bible is very different from every other kids’ Bibles. While other kids’ Bibles contain stories from the Old and New Testaments, The Jesus Storybook Bible tells the Story beneath all the stories in the Bible, pointing to Jesus as our Savior.

Great Storybook for kids
Revisado: 01-09-24
This is a great storybook for children. Love the narrative and performance of the stories. Can’t wait to share it with my grandson. Especially love how close it relates to the scriptures. I am enjoying it myself and highly recommend for children and adults alike. Wish I had this tool when I taught children’s ministry some years ago.

Historia
For years, rumors of the "Marsh Girl" have haunted Barkley Cove, a quiet town on the North Carolina coast. So in late 1969, when handsome Chase Andrews is found dead, the locals immediately suspect Kya Clark, the so-called Marsh Girl. But Kya is not what they say. Sensitive and intelligent, she has survived for years alone in the marsh that she calls home, finding friends in the gulls and lessons in the sand.

I watched the movie a couple of times before reading the book. The movie did the book justice. Both author and the narrator were excellent. Great storyline. I highly recommend this book to others.

Just as I Am is my truth. It is me, plain and unvarnished, with the glitter and garland set aside. Here, I am indeed Cicely, the actress who has been blessed to grace the stage and screen for six decades. Yet I am also the church girl who once rarely spoke a word. I am the teenager who sought solace in the verses of the old hymn for which this book is named. I am a daughter and mother, a sister, and a friend. I am an observer of human nature and the dreamer of audacious dreams.

This beautiful Queen has always been my favorite actress of all time. Love this book and love the way she stood for decent, high-standard roles in Hollywood. I’ve admired her grace in life and on screen. What a legend and a phenomenal woman. Highly recommend this book.

JUST AS GREAT AS BOOK ONE.
Revisado: 11-03-22
This book was as GREAT as the first one. I stayed up all night listening to this audible. Love that Ron finally married again, but so sad to learn of Denver’s death because I could hardly wait for the next book by them Now that the torch has been passed to Ron, I’m certain we’ll get another book disclosing hs next chapter in life and/or his life moving forward without Denver. I am starting an audible book club with close family and friends…Same Kind Of Different As Me will be our first book, followed by others in this series. Highly Recommend this book.

Historia
This is the story of how a nerdy, homeschooled kid in the church choir named John Stephens became the Grammy-winning, platinum-selling, genre-pushing pop star we know as John Legend. For a long time, he led a double life—excelling as a star student while his home life was in shambles, working in corporate America as a financial consultant while moonlighting as a musician in nightclubs, always straddling a line between the person he was and the person he wanted to be. These are his Words + Music.

Historia
Meet Denver, raised under plantation-style slavery in Louisiana until he escaped the “Man” in the 1960’s by hopping a train. Untrusting, uneducated, and violent, he spends 18 years on the streets of Dallas and Fort Worth. Meet Ron Hall, a self-made millionaire in the world of high-priced deals—an international arts dealer who moves between upscale New York galleries and celebrities. It seems unlikely that these two men would meet under normal circumstances, but when Deborah Hall, Ron's wife, meets Denver, she sees him through God's eyes of compassion.
