Before I realized there was a young reader's version, this story is so important that I listened to some of it with my kids. I finished it on my own and then listened to the kid's version with my boys. Thank you Cairo and Will... for everything.

Unforgettable story

I don't even know where to start on how touching this story is. I won't try. I loved this book. And so did my kids. We laughed and cried together. Thank you Cairo and Will... for everything.

I appreciate the author's vulnerability

This is one of those stories that, for me, I could tell within moments of the beginning that I was going to dread the end of. I wouldn't want the story to end... and when I got there, I wanted it to keep going. But everything has an end. I appreciate how open the author was with his vulnerabilities. Lots of funny moments and lots of sad ones, too. Definitely with a listen. I finished it in a couple of days. Couldn't stop. Loved it.

I loved the format with the built in podcast content! More than that, the story of David’s life and his insights help me see things I didn’t understand before. Sad I’m done with the book but will just listen again.
