A surprisingly eventful book
Revisado: 08-12-18
I picked this one up in a 3 for 2 sale and I’m glad I did! Admittedly there were a few minutes I had to fast forward due to Olive’s total naivety being utterly cringeworthy (although perhaps that was intended!) but aside from that it was very enjoyable listening to a Mancunian travel around New York.
This story was incredibly sweet and the ending satisfying. Definitely worth a credit!

Not as gripping as the first book

Not as gripping as the first book
Revisado: 08-12-18
I couldn’t stop listening to the first book in this series. However, this one isn’t quite as gripping a story, the main plot with Cleo was pretty obvious from the outset, but there were a few nice twists and turns along the way happening in the background.
An enjoyable listen if you enjoyed the first book, the characters feel like old friends now and the narration was top notch!

Historia
Wannabe actress Dani Steele's résumé resembles a cautionary tale on how not to be famous. She's pushing thirty and stuck in a dead-end insurance job, and her relationship status is holding at uncommitted. With unbearably perfect sisters and a mother who won't let her forget it, Dani has two go-tos for consolation: maple scones and a blog in which she pours her heart out to her celebrity idol. He's the man her father never was, no boyfriend will ever be - and not so impossible a dream as one might think.

A must listen for anyone who’s lost their Dad

I was a bit tentative picking this one up as my knowledge of wrestlers is somewhat limited, but this story and the characters charmed me into continuing to listen and I’m so glad I did. The narrator’s voices for the various actors is lovely (even the beautiful English Marco!) and definitely added to the story.
Utterly loved it and now love DJ too ;)

Historia
Ever meet a hot billionaire while your hand's in a toilet in the men's room of one of his stores? No? So it really is just me. Hmm. When you're a mystery shopper, you get paid to humiliate yourself, all in the name of improving customer service. Romance isn't in my job description. But the day I met Declan McCormick it was love at first flush. Until I nearly castrated him with my EpiPen. How Hot Guy and Toilet Girl became an item involves my crazy mom, a trip to the ER, my homicidal cat, my fake wife, and true love.

Promising start but didn’t seem to go anywhere
Revisado: 03-09-18
The first book was pretty good, and while the ending was a bit sudden and predictable I had high hopes for the second one.
I got about halfway through that and when a bit of drama happened at the picnic I thought it had finally gotten good again with some actual plot breaking through... but no. Returned it before finishing.
