I love this series so much I could not put this book down. the author's writing style in world-building leaves nothing to be desired and the voice-over performance was very expressive and I could really see the distinct personalities of each character. Amazing never stop writing!

Wonderfully dense with detail!!

I thoroughly enjoyed this installment of "The Land" series. The world building and emphasis on detail, continues to shine and entrall in book 7. This book rings darker and more savage than any of its predecessors, but captures the reader's mind and emotions, and sticks true to the title: Predators!

Another awesome book by chris b!

I've read Chris Bradford's books before and the young samurai series and I loved loved loved it! I loved those young samurai series so much that I read it three times and it's entirety. I didn't know what to expect going into the bodyguards series but the first book was amazing and the second book was also awesome. The books have some adult themes, like violent death and physical trauma, but they also carry the running theme that if it first you don't succeed you make yourself better so that the next time you'll come out on top and that's a really great mantra to live by. I love the books and I'll keep reading the series I only wish that the other bodyguards series books were on audible.
