Historia
When it comes to swimming with the sharks, there is no bigger kahuna than Serge Storms. Bingeing on a marathon of legal movies set in Florida, Serge finds his vocation: the law. Never mind law school or that degree; Serge becomes a freelance fixer - wildcat paralegal and pilgrim to the hallowed places where legal classics of the big screen such as Body Heat, Cool Hand Luke, and Absence of Malice were filmed practically in his own backyard.

"When Polly's in Trouble"............
Revisado: 02-10-15
If you could sum up Shark Skin Suite in three words, what would they be?
Laugh Out Loud
What does Oliver Wyman bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Oliver Wyman brings the characters to life, from voice inflection and tones of the characters to the fast pace of the narration. He is the voice of Serge.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
Hang on
Any additional comments?
With a quote from Underdog, a couple of "Serge-isms", stops throughout Florida, a seasoned cast of characters, and a Colman plot twist, what is not to like. "Shark Skin Suit" rates in my top three from Tim Dorsey.

Historia
In the good old days, magic was indispensable - it could both save a kingdom and clear a clogged drain. But now magic is fading: drain cleaner is cheaper than a spell, and magic carpets are used for pizza delivery. Fifteen-year-old foundling Jennifer Strange runs Kazam, an employment agency for magicians - but it’s hard to stay in business when magic is drying up. And then the visions start, predicting the death of the world’s last dragon at the hands of an unnamed Dragonslayer.

A good light book
Revisado: 03-09-13
What made the experience of listening to The Last Dragonslayer the most enjoyable?
I found the book light and refreshing. It is a well written pre-teen book but something that an adult can slip into and let the cares of the day fade. If you are looking for something more serious or along the line of Jasper Fforde's other novels this might be the book for you. If you can enjoy a basic story line with only a few minor twits this is a good one.
What was one of the most memorable moments of The Last Dragonslayer?
The description of the quark beasts statue.
Which character – as performed by Elizabeth Jasicki – was your favorite?
Tiger Prawns

Historia
You could say it all started with the red-eyed tramp with the slimy fingers who put the wind up Neville, the part-time barman, something rotten. Or when Archroy's wife swapped his trusty Morris Minor for five magic beans while he was out at the rubber factory.

Laugh out loud

A very good book. The voices were excellent but the sound effects did get a bit irrating though not near enough to stop listening. It reminds me some what of Douglas Adams with a little Agatha Christie thrown in for good measure.
