worst one yet. this is a first person perspective series over 2 hours was an alternitive side charcter point of view super annoying. still 26/27 is pretty good and ill buy the next one

main story starts as a normal adventure book lots of fun good narration but as it goes on you start to get some gay hints between main and roomate. which is fine but not my thing looking at the reviews for book two and it looks like they go steady. good for them not for me.

three main failures. first the the audio has random wrong words that are annoying like a zombie being made discontent by a sword and not say decapatated

2. charcters wierdly forget things they've been told or shown big things like what someone did for ten years or if they can use magic

3. the main charcter is a passive yes man. i stop reading when a princess snubs him, treats him like a horse says they are engaged and throws him out of her house and hes just like ok that seems legit.

a good 3 hour book

I say that becuase 1/2 of this book is random looks at marco polo's life, fun and all I guess but doesn't seem to have a baring on the main story, another 1/4 of the book is random wool gathering. then maybe half hour of recipes which at least makes since for the story leaves about 3 hours of actual content

really getting annoyed with these cliff hanger endings this is the secound book in a row that akwardly cuts off in the middle of the action.

writing style was fun performance good.but I didn't like the MC I kept hoping he would become better as the book wnet on but he was the same the whole way thru and in the final battle got his butt kicked and scampered off. just very little redeeming about him. probably won't get book 2

well that was.... something.

disclaimer left about 4 hours on book.

this book is very .....well its something. first off technical issues. the editing is amateur work. now the author is also the narrator so that maybe part of the problem. but expect missed words and bad brakes every other paragraph. as for the story itself. about 1/3 of the book is green party propaganda. the main charcter would make a great background charcter in most books of this style. he's a CEO I guess but we never see any business or staff stuff after the first arc and even then he never really interacted with the crews. it all just happens in the background we guess? but if you want a book that preachs captialism bad earth good and the main charcter is a solid meh this books for you. the actual space related stuff was nice though Including problems and solutions faced and found by the mission control and crews. just woulda been better writen as a private venture with a half decent leader.

not my most favorite title in the series these books are already short and having the author go on a social justice rant like im a teenager who needs to be told how to treat others with respect is annoying

still a great series

the author presents the age old scifi trops with their flawed premises. everyone works for the greater good becuase .... human nature aparently stops being human nature? the deities cite freedom as an important gift then ignore the facr that someone will always be incharge and making decisions.
