Historia

Prêt chi volesse imparare l'italiano forse....

Historia
In The Brain That Changes Itself, Norman Doidge described the most important breakthrough in our understanding of the brain in 400 years: the discovery that the brain can change its own structure and function in response to mental experience - what we call neuroplasticity. His revolutionary new book shows, for the first time, how the amazing process of neuroplastic healing really works. It describes natural, noninvasive avenues into the brain provided by the forms of energy around us.

Very good and divulgative book on the latest outlook on neuróplasticity. It's good to double check concept and authors on the net to understand concept further.

Superficial and pretencious
Revisado: 04-02-18
A waste of time. A superficial theoretical review that tell you what you are supposed to do to manage anger by telling you to buy books on mindfulness, nlp, or cognitive behaviour therapy. I hoped for the next chapter to bring some insights or techniques... Never came... I would not buy this again

Superficial maybe good as a first glance book
Revisado: 03-31-18
Did not find anything that I could not find in an Internet article. It's tells very quickly what you are supposed to do but no in depth how or why. It can be summirized "don't let your anger overcome you, or our will destroy your relationships, Work and other contexts" . If you are really in trouble, go to a professional for help. Oversimplified and superficial. No practical or real examples nor scientific references.

Good principles however a bit patronising
Revisado: 02-11-18
Good to hear the principle, however a bit patronising and somewhat simplistic in the way he talks about people wanting self importance. Most of us want to feel safe, recognised and loved. (recognised means to be seen and visible and considered not necessarily being important in all situations). Generally a good book to start thinking about positive psychology however I would not live the principles as a rule more as a guide line for reflection. Influence is an art and constructive influence and leadership a master craft!
