Cute story but the narrator read the entire story alone. She made the guy who was supposed to be a 28yr old super star sound like a 12 yr old annoyed middle schooler. It was hard to listen to it. The plot was great. She gave Gwen a great story and a good love of her life but again one person reading every part was just awful. I hope the author considers expanding to a male narrator.

Cute story. The plot is good but the narrators were 2 women reading the entire story alone and the guy who was supposed to be in his late 20’s sounds like a middle school annoyed kid it’s hard to hear past that. I wish the author would have just paid a guy to read those lines. As far as Jenny she sounded like a 60 yr old not a young woman in her 20’s. Good stories terrible narrators.

Glorifying abuse

Unfortunately I had to stop & return this title.

He is extremely aggressive. Aaron even says I can go down there open her legs whether she likes it or not (that’s rape) he pulls daisy by the hair & up the stairs (dragging her) in an aggressive manner. He even contemplates leaving her for days or month’s handcuffed on her knees in a cellar.
A lot of annal sex talk to the point where it’s in most every sex thought. Which is fine if that’s your thing but it’s coming across excessive. I think the label is as a rom con there is no rom con to this it’s extremely dark. It should be labeled appropriately. It’s a story about a family that forces a girl to marry to save their family fortune. She married into a lot of abuse. I’ve listened to all frost brothers and all Svensson Books I wanted to visit that world or a part of it again but this crosses the line into rape thoughts and physical abuse. It should have a different description, label and a trigger warning at the beginning. Aaron was mentioned so much before I was excited for this book drop but again had to return it. Let this be your trigger warning bc unfortunately the author did not do it. If you’ve been raped or in a DV relationship this is not your book. A man should not be excused to abuse physically, mentally or verbally just bc he has $ that’s what Alina has done here.

Finally

Finally we get to Belle it was a very cute story however the man reading sounded like a 90 yr old man with out teeth. I could not stand it. I tried to get a refund it did not let me so I powered through. Cute story finally they get together and have a baby super cute terrible narrator on the male part even the steamy parts were eww bc of his voice and tone. The lady plying belle was great.

Worse Alina book

The first Winter brothers book was extra and over the top. She makes the winter brothers such A holes it’s ridiculous and un believable. Yes it’s also not believable every frost brother ends up with a baker but at least it’s cute. Anderson is just abusive there is a fine line and she’s glorifying abuse. Don’t waste your time on this junk. Abuse and toxic behavior should not be glorified this way simply because the guy has abs or a big D

Love this romantic story

This was such a sweet, romantic story. The main characters find each other in a fun way and it ties together in the end. My favorite thing about this book and author is that she brings characters from previous books like the frost brothers and gives you a glimpse at where those characters are now and makes you smile. They come and help the current characters by bringing them up in cool ways. This book had romance, steamy moments but so many funny moments thanks to ida. Starting book 3 now.
