Listening to this book was just as enthralling as the first. I'm fresh off the read so I'm still wrapped up in the emotions of it all, but it was honestly heartbreaking to listen to how incomplete the boys still are with themselves. Their struggle is something new, I never knew I needed a book that deals with the aftermath of the end of the climax. The performance was incredible and I had to stop it a few times to just deal with everything I was feeling.

All in all, it was a pretty mediocre book. Nothing terrible about it but also nothing too remarkable. Just a run of the mill cop book. Same for the voice actor. He did his job, but nothing special. Voices all sounded the same and didn't have a whole lot of emotion to them but nothing that made the book unbearable.

Arrogant. Smug. Alpha. He was also to-die-for gorgeous, and my stepbrother's fraternity brother. Okay, yes I was a little naive, a tad bit socially awkward, and the smallest amount of stalker-ish, but if Caden Banks thought he could tell me what to do, he had another thing coming.

Middle school fantasy

Honestly if you'd told me that this was a book written by a middle schooler who was fantasizing about what college would be like, I wouldn't doubt it for a second. The story is trivial at best and the main character is infuriation at all times. It's dumb high school drama that's being played up as if it's life altering and the girl is an absolute brat.
I usually try to give books the benefit of the doubt and keep listening but I can't with this one. The main character is too unrelatable and I find myself getting angry with her self entitled action.
