Historia
Rand Fishkin, the founder and former CEO of Moz, reveals how traditional Silicon Valley "wisdom" leads far too many startups astray, with the transparency and humor that his hundreds of thousands of blog readers have come to love. Everyone knows how a startup story is supposed to go: A young, brilliant entrepreneur has a cool idea, drops out of college, defies the doubters, overcomes all odds, makes billions, and becomes the envy of the technology world. This is not that story. It's not that things went badly for Rand Fishkin; they just weren't quite so Zuckerberg-esque.

Extremist Leftism
Revisado: 10-01-19
this book was ruined and made completely and utterly unshareable for its endorsement of the antiscientific idea that a person can "become" a woman if he is a man. truly horrible propaganda. its amazing that this denial of science and reality is even a thing at all. Horrible.
Also, it has a lot of lefty talking points, which make it really appalling.

Very leftist thinker
Revisado: 06-21-19
It is full of propagandistic thoughts such as
1. Rejecting miracles
2. Endorsing the trashy false idea of evolution
and similar stuff,...

Historia

Lefty crazy abominations ahead
Revisado: 05-28-19
This is the first book of cal newport I have consumed.
Somethings that make this book worthless and un-shareable in my world.
1. He quotes at length the blasphemous beast named bill maher as if he is a brilliant philosopher. (not!)
2. He quotes the blasphemous beast named sam Harris as if he is morally good (not!)
3. He spends a lot of time positioning Nietzsche (the writer of the book the anti Christ and a precursor of nazi euthanasia) as if it was a great thing that he took walks to be more productive.
4. He doesn't focus on the how aspect of controlling internet addiction, but a lot in the why you need it...
5. includes a lottttt of filler with historical background that is not necessary
6. He casually mentions that Benjamin Franklin was a mason, as if worshipping baphomet is no problemo (not!)
7. But the worst part is that he pathetically and anti-scientifically totally bows down like sheep to the anti-reality trend of denying the truth of gender as being fixed and binary. That's actually the biggest let down of all this piece,... how that marxist pseudoscience came to be accepted by even people who pride themselves in being scientists???? human respect, love of riches and fear of losing a career.
How he does that???? with a large, lengthy portrayal of a woman that prefers the pronoun they/them. In my manual that's demonic possession of the woman and the they thingy is just the multitude if devils living inside of her proclaiming that they are legion.
8. Ahhh, and also he says that in the past the society was patriarchal, implying it as a negative feature. (not!)
It seems that not even solitude and "deep work" can get you to be an independent, reality based thinker,.... the rotten fruits of liberalism.
Cal Newport, good bye,... (throws virtual book to the trash can of refunds)
