An interesting story but progressively declines in interest. The majority of the middle of the book seems to be mostly filler. I couldn't take the last chapter seriously (probably fine if you just read the last chapter, but as an audiobook its wild)
Performance by Shazam is always nothing less than spectacular.

If you have been in a relationship with a narcissist, it is no doubt that you have been subjected to the worst psychological warfare that there is: gaslighting. Gaslighting is a form of abuse and torture that can cause you to break. It can cause you to lose your mind. It can cause your psyche and your rationality to separate at the seams. Gaslighting can damage you in ways that nothing else can damage you. It is a form of brainwashing that should only be used in war, but is used against you right in your own living room.

Spew of Buzzwords and Repetitive Talking Points

This entire "book" can be honestly written in less than 4 sentences. Author uses the words "narcissist" and hivemind" at least a few hundred times and repeats himself to no end.
This is similar to a classroom essay with nothing but filler to try and obtain the required word count.
Nothing in it is new or retrospective, honestly more fitting for a gossip magazine than an actual audibook.
This would be your biggest waste of a credit yet

Intellectual Masterpiece of the Century

Since completing and re-listening to this book, my hairline regrew to Norwood 0. My member grew 6” between beginning and finishing the book. I’m now standing 4” taller and I often have to physically push woman away from me. My IQ has doubled, my income has tripled, and I’ve been nominated for a Nobel prize twice for work Ive never done.

Very real ending. Lots of underlying and metaphysical messages underneath an otherwise simple and linear story. We all know a John, or have been in his place.
