Tremble at these Writings

Let me share an experience that might enlighten another poor, corrupted soul like myself. As a younger man I would ride with my mother and father in our family car. While my mother would drive she would look around at her surroundings - often to the chagrin of my father who would routinely have to remind her to return to her lane in the traffic. This meant nothing to me at the time. As I become older and listened to this book and other writings of the saints I was made aware either through my own understanding or aided by the holy spirit that my mother was acting out her desire - that is to gaze and see those things in her environment - unable to resist even at the cost of driving in an unsafe manner.

This book helps to give us insight into how the world, desires of the flesh and how satan has deceived us into putting our desires first thus distancing ourselves from true communion with God.

Fear not - For as Jesus said, "In patience possess ye your souls". In essence - for as we are tempted and succumb to our desires, that is our fleshly desires of this world we must continue to strive to become better and make the vessel perfect even as Jesus tells to be perfect as he is perfect.

For my own personal path I have a long ways to go.

A valuable read for those truly seeking God.

Favorite Audible Book - Ever !!!

I dont whether its because of the great narration, which is very good, or the word of God speaking to my spirit..... just my favorite book to listen to and learn from. Im not sure which branch of Christianity has it right - if any of them. Yet I do believe the Catholics are about as close as you will come to getting Christs message correct.

A Must Listen for Christians that Struggle

A very enlightening listen. It was if someone walked inside my room (my life) and shone the light on the things past and present that hurt me and may very well have been, and should be considered as demonic activity. We should all thank God with all our soul for being so long suffering.

Good information its just rehashed and reworded a few too many times. The important lessons in this book could probably have taken up less than fifty pages or an hour of audible - of course that does not a book make.

Must Read for Christians!!

It really increased my faith in Jesus!!! Especially as so much in the Old Testament foretold with unblinking accuracy of his coming. When, where and other details are revealed and just made my faith so much stronger. There is so much more than I can write here. Helps one to appreciate the Old Testament and realize God is an immortal entity and not just some abstract energy. Do yourself a favor and read it!!!!

This is a good book and a good listen. The author/narrator are very good at getting their message across. A lot of good prayers herein as well. Will listen to again.

Yes x 10. The ego is so pervasive in our lives; In fact I firmly believe that most people who are incarcerated for crimes have let their ego control them and destroy them. Another book along this line is called Ego is the Enemy.

Educational about the ego.

Gifted speaker.

Yes - more than one; Especially how the ego attacks you.

What did you love best about Life with My Sister Madonna?

Learning how Madonna thinks. Finding out that much of what she wants you (the public) is a fraud. This is more than something coming from her brother. This is coming from a brother that she trusted in and confided in and really lets the facts be known.
