Historia
Everyone’s favorite fifteen-year-old ghostalker, Ropa, arrives at the worldwide Society of Skeptical Enquirers’ biennial conference just in time to be tied into a mystery—a locked room mystery, if an entire creepy haunted castle on lockdown counts. One of the magical attendees has stolen a valuable magical scroll. Caught between Qozmos, the high wizard of Ethiopian magic; the larger-than-life Lord Sashvindu Samarasinghe; England’s Sorcerer Royal; and Scotland’s own Edmund MacLeod, it’s up to Ropa to sort through the dangerous secret politics and alliances to figure out what really happened.

Love this series!

I found this series by accident and so glad I did. Ropa has now become one of my favorite characters ever.

Historia
Jamie Winship spent nearly thirty years living and working in conflict zones, and during that time he has learned an important truth: all human conflict originates from fear, and fear originates from a false view of God, ourselves, and others. Until we exchange what's false for what's real, we will never experience being fully alive, fully human, and fully free. Living Fearless is your invitation to listen closely to what God is trying to say to you about himself, about the person he created you to be—and also about all those other people he created and loves.

Good book for those who need an identity check
Revisado: 01-09-24
I felt like this could have been a significantly shorter book. The thesis was laid out pretty early on, and then went on for a bit longer that I preferred. The narrator wasn’t my favorite, so that could have been part of it. Ultimately, this is a good book for someone struggling with their identity and really needed the concept hammered down deep. But i could have used this as a short workbook. Good questions asked.

Sad I didn’t read this sooner
Revisado: 01-22-23
I am a huge sucker for character development. I want depth. And all the characters- both protagonists and antagonists alike have depth. The story is complex but interesting. Really enjoyed it.
