Should Be So Much Better Than It Is

I'm so disappointed in this book. The pieces or ideas are there, it should be very cute and interesting. It's not. Nothing is executed well. I wanted to give some details in this review to help other listeners decide if they can deal with this book but honestly since the author themself didn't bother with any details or any kind of fleshed out story, I don't feel like putting in more effort than they did. I usually like this narrator but I'm even grumpy about him, too. If I could have seen the outline for this book I would have thought it could be a new favorite, right up my alley, maybe I'd love the entire series. I was so wrong, and I'm mad about it.
