Historia
The epic and highly anticipated conclusion to the listener-favorite series that had countless Audible listeners (and employees) hooked from the very first Bob - featuring, as always, a flawless performance from the inimitable Ray Porter. Being a sentient spaceship really should be more fun. But after spreading out through space for almost a century, Bob and his clones just can't stay out of trouble. They've created enough colonies so humanity shouldn't go extinct.

Historia
Why we think it’s a great listen: It’s easy to say that when it comes to sci-fi you either love it or you hate it. But with Ender’s Game, it seems to be you either love it or you love it.... The war with the Buggers has been raging for a hundred years, and the quest for the perfect general has been underway for almost as long. Enter Andrew "Ender" Wiggin, the result of decades of genetic experimentation.

A deeply engrossing title with amazing narration
Revisado: 05-17-17
Ender's Game was a deeply moving saga that managed to focus on both the personal struggles that Ender faced throughout his life as well as the strategy and overall context of the overall war. Stefan Rudnicki brought Ender to life and made him (and all the characters he voiced) feel like real individuals with their own goals and emotions, fully realising the complex characters written by Orson Scott Card. The other narrators were also great at voicing their roles, and made it easy for the reader to feel the emotions that Orson wanted them to feel. Anyone who is even slightly interested in science fiction and who loves reading stories with deep character development and grey morality would be doing themselves a disservice to miss out on this title.

Did not live up to the hype
Revisado: 12-11-16
It really bogged down and was too boring to finish even as a sci-fi fan.

Historia
The war raged across the galaxy. Billions had died, billions more were doomed. Moons, planets, the very stars themselves, faced destruction - cold-blooded, brutal, and worse, random. The Idirans fought for their Faith; the Culture for its moral right to exist. Principles were at stake. There could be no surrender. Within the cosmic conflict, an individual crusade....

a classic story narrated by a truly great orator
Revisado: 08-13-16
the narrator perfectly put across the varying moods of the story and personified each of the characters. the story itself is of course well-loved, but I was impressed with how well Peter Kenny brought the story to life. this audiobook was much superior in my opinion to reading the paperback
