A New Fave!

I really really loved this book. It has just enough Whimsy to consume you and teleport you to a New Wonderland. I wish i could have a menu of all the foods & drinks mentioned in this book, they all sound so intriguing. The story of wonderland unlike any other. If you enjoyed the Splintered series you will absolutely love this book, I need the next book ASAP.

Great Character Growth!

So I will start of by saying this book was a hard start for me. The main character starts of as unlikable, simply with the fact that she is so judgmental, self absorbed and thinks less of all the other Afterlife Assistance and is offended an Elf was going to school to be a Valkyrie instead of a Reaper. I kept going hoping she will grow and I'm glad I did! She definitely starts to see things from a different perspective, she learns more from her roommate and as she learns more, she is also growing herself as a person and discovers new things about herself. I related to her so much in the self discovery, the confusion she has about what she's feeling, how she's feeling, who she is really and even what is her sexuality. This is a hot and cold for her because it is confusing at first because if you are taught all your life one way and feel different it makes you feel like you are broken or wrong. I was so devastated when the story ended because I wanted to keep going to see what is next, will she get clarity and what is happening to the world. I highly recommend this book and want the rest of the series ASAP!

A Great Witchy Mystery!

I'm a big fan of cute witchy girls in a small themed town. That being said this is one of my favorites,
I got this book for free and my review is honest and true.

I put this series right next to the adorable "Magical Cures" Series as well as "butter witch". Its a cute quirky story of a witchy girl living in a town themed by cats which is fitting since Amber the witch is a very curious one. She manages to get in a little trouble which doesn't help her the more she digs, digs, digs. For me my early guess was correct but i enjoyed the journey it took me to get there, but its hard for me to be shocked by who was guilty by being an Agatha Christie fan a a very, very, very, young age.

Overall its a cute little story and it caused me to buy the second book right after finishing the first book i enjoyed it so much. I can't wait to see what other little things Amber get herself into.

Hard to start but good story.

I hard a hard time with this story. The beginning was rough for me because I couldn't imagine someone who is ancient being stuck in a young girls body, making terrible decisions like a young girl. The fact that murder was so dominant in her brain being a young high school girl was odd and unfitting. The situations she put herself and her friends in make me think "well that won't end well and was not smart, I expected someone ancient to make better decisions then this". That was a common thought in the beginning of the book, but after that part the rest was easier to deal with, 2 young kids with ancients minds that have a connection and now that they finally connected, it shows how misunderstood everything was and what a waste of time it has been.

I did enjoy the book I just had to push through the first few chapters.

Ready for the next book!

I really enjoyed this book, the musical score really help me get into the story.

Its like Harry potter in a way that you go to a magical school and that the main character is an outcast.
I wish I had musical talent, if I did I would want to go to Mystwick.

Its a beautiful and complete story but I find myself wanting so much more,
I loved this story so much that I have listened to it twice. I'm ready for book 2.

Fun Cute Twist on the North Pole!

I went through all these books like candy.

They were so unique, fun and light hearted.

I love Jayne Frost daughter of Jack Frost and Niece of non other then Santa Clause and the town of Nocturne Falls is a place I actually wish existed so I can move there.

All the character you meet in this town are interesting and easy to love.

I recommend this series, followed by the Nocturne Falls series and I'm currently working on the Nocturne Falls Universe Stories.

Feels Unpolished!

It was difficult for me to get through the, the writer seems a bit all over the place. I like the concept but it was very unpolished and felts choppy. I have been really into witch series and this seems like it would be right down my alley and at a pretty good price.

Its not horrible but if is also no the best. I feel like it needs a rewrite and rework to make it feel more solid and complete.

Hated this book!

I love the entire series but this book is absolutely frustrating.

***SPOILER ALERT***

The first 2-3 hours of this book Bae is nothing but a whiney insecure little child. (yes a child and the narrator does not help her case)

You would think after seeing her and Landons relationship through Aunt Tilly's eyes she would be more confident, but nope she acts like immature child and falls back to her old self. She has no understanding of the importance of "Undercover work". She acts like an immature teenager pouting about the stupidest and most insignificant things, making a big deal out of something so small.

She then continues to drive everyone else insane and she then tries to pick a fight with other people.

This insane insecurity is 5 step backwards to her characters growth and its upsetting that she moved backwards in development rather then forwards.

It was hard getting through this book! Very disappointing.
