WOW!!!

INCREDIBLE!!! One of the best things I've read or listened too in quite some time. I don't give many really good books 5 star reviews, mostly 4 stars, but this was exceptional in every aspect. I'm a 67 year old guy, and I don't mind admitting that I cried for most all of the last 2 episodes. I tear up a bit, quite often when reading, but not like this. I know everybody has their own opinion, but it will confuse me if anyone doesn't give this 5 stars all across the board. Excellent job, to everybody involved!!!

Quite a good coming of age story. Solid characters, good worldbuilding and leaves you wanting to read more stories about Nesteryia. I was not thrilled with the narrator. Just something off. Not sure just what it was, but didn't care for his reading. Aside from that, a very nice beginning to this series.

Vampire history

Very interesting, new ideas on how vampires came to be., and why there are different kinds of vampires. The theories hold up quite well through all 3 stories. The last story was my favorite. The narrator did a very decent job, also. Good differentiation between each character voice. This is well worth reading or listening to. Listening to all three books is only 3 hours. A great way to spend an evening. I received a free audible copy of this set, but am glad to give this voluntary review.

Fun short story

This was a fun story to listen to. A gunslinger with an "extra" gift, meets a doctor with an "extra" gift also. Will they use their gifts for good or evil? Give a listen to find out; it's only an hour! The narrator read just a bit slowly, but, every word was clear and distinct. Overall, I give it 4 stars. I received this audiobook free from the author, but this is a totally voluntary review.

Very good story of a mom Trying to care for her two daughters after apocalyptic events.. Having to teach them that you can't trust anybody anymore. It's hard to change their minds, now that you have to break in to your neighbors house and steal anything you can to survive.. Trying to get her oldest daughter (16) to understand that she may have to try to kill people, so that she will survive. Great narrator, also. A solid 4 stars! I received a free audio copy from the author, but this is a totally voluntary review.

This was a great series right up to the ending. I personally would have gone in a different direction, but that's just me. I can't tell you without spoilers. But the writing was good , the development of characters and world were especially good. All in all, a very good series to read or listen to.

New Series!

This was not at all what I was expecting! I don't know what I was expecting, but this wasn't it. I'm not good at reviewing books, so I mostly just say whether they made me happy or not while reading (or listening) to them. I was very happy while listening to this. There is just a little bit of romance here, which I am grateful for. This first part of the series is about a young guy trying to raise up from slavery and save himself and his Dad. The author quickly pulls you into the story and doesn't let go. In the next book, the young man is basically forced to go fight in the war. By the third book, maybe a Galactic Catastrophe??? I am anxiously waiting for the rest of this series! I haven't listened to many audio books yet, but I thought the narrator did a great job. All the different characters were recognizable, and with one narrator, that's what I consider important. I received a free download of this audio book and am gladly reviewing it.
