Good plot. Love the step back in time. Scott Brick narrates so well it’s a bonus.

Just ok
Revisado: 03-07-22
It’s a lot less about his life and more about his thoughts about his life. It’s almost like a self help book about what he was thinking and how he should have thought about things differently. It was nice having him as the reader but moved a bit slow at times due to all of his deep thoughts.

Slow moving

This is not a mystery but mostly a woman’s thoughts about the death of her husband.

Most abrupt ending!
Revisado: 04-07-19
I thought I was missing some chapters. Can’t recommend this due to the fact the book just stopped and you never find out what happened. So strange!

Too detailed and slow moving
Revisado: 10-24-17
Too many mundane details are included in this book. 200 pages could have been edited out and it probably would have been really interesting. Really hard to finish.

Not nearly as interesting as the first book
Revisado: 03-29-16
This almost seems to have been written by a different author. It was so predictable and average. The first in the series was exciting and surprising. I won't be reading the third book. I even predicted the cliff hanger at the very end and don't even care if I find out what happens. Disappointing.

Worst narrator ever
Revisado: 01-21-16
It was hard to really get in to the story with random dramatic pauses throughout EVERY sentence. The reading was so stilted it detracted from a really good story. It sounded like a robot reading, and unaware how to enunciate properly. I could not listen to another book by this narrator.
