The protagonist is funny, relatable, and clever. I wonder why there’s only 3 audiobooks where there seven books so far in the series. I definitely would continue to buy the rest of the series.

Better than the last one, a safe purchase

This story had more spice and more plot than Cruel Seduction. I feel like they gave Katee more time to do what she does best: dream up sexy adult interactions with a dash of make believe intrigue.
Granted, we have several books now hinging on people in power never considering they can simply change a law. Then I remember how that basically true in real life too. Once you allow your spectrum of disbelief to ignore that detail, it’s a fun listen.

This story was creative. I enjoyed it. The performance was good. There were two characters with similar voices, but it a lot people may not notice because those two characters don’t have a bunch of dialogue with one another. Overall, it was worth the credit.

A dear friend turned me onto the disc world; I’ve been hooked ever since. There’s whimsy, clever characters, and re-imagining of fantasy concepts. Even though this story was written in the 80’s, it’s still a fresh delightful listen. The narration is excellent and full of fun asides. Buy it if you love a great story, talented voice actors, and plucky witches.
