This is the BEST celebrity book I have EVER read. Brooke is funny and entertaining but manages to also get her point across. ANY woman over 40 should read or listen to this book. Her perspective is enlightening!

Best Book Baldacci has ever written!

This story was intense and unpredictable. I couldn't stop listening. Baldacci is an excellent author, but this is by far his best work. Gives a lot of insight into the racial issues here in the US, and hopes that maybe eventually they will heal.

Amazingly Touching Story

This is by far one of the best books I have ever read or listened to. The story was engrossing from the first words. The writing was beautiful and the story performance engaging and heartfelt. I loved it!

Humorous and Intriguing

This may be my favorite Koontz book thus far. The story was interesting and really witty. The audio version was also great, with the reader getting the moods and characters perfectly. Excellent read (or listen!)

Viola's Best Yet

I love all things Viola. Every single story takes me away and gives me hope. This one, though, has spoken louder and made me think harder than any previous, and I am eternally grateful. I needed this particular story at this particular time. Thank you!

What a Great Story

This story had it all. It had a strong storyline and was the perfect combination of serious and hilarious! Listen to the audio book version if you get the chance... the narrator was amazing. I laughed so hard at some of the situations and thought processes! DEFINITELY worth your time! GREAT!

Excellent Story

I am always a bit hesitant to try a new author, but very glad I did this time. The story is well written and the combination of first- and third-person narration actually enhances the plot twists, which abound! Highly suggest this one!

Waste of time

I finished this one, but barely. Characters were unremarkable and even unlikable. And WAY too much use of the f-bomb, especially when referring to sex... which also happened a lot. (I may have read erotica with less action) Very uncreative storyline and extremely repetitive. This is a great cure for insomnia. I highly suggest not wasting your money and time.

Unbelievably Real

I have developed a whole new appreciation for Matthew McConaughey through both his story and the way he portrays it. This book would be a great read already, but the audio brings it home. Thank you Matthew for such an inspiring and entertaining story!!

Excellent!!

Well written, sad, but moving story. A few unexpected twists which made it an interesting, unpredictable read. Found myself having a difficult time turning it off. I could easily have listened to it in one long sitting! Narrator was extraordinary also.
