Very slow moving and hard to follow
Revisado: 07-24-23
The narrators were sometimes hard to follow and understand. I was into chapter 4 and stopped listening.

Not Impressed
Revisado: 03-18-22
The story might have been good, but I could barely stay awake because the narrator was so bad. His monotone voice and no variation for characters made it hard to get interested in the story. I would not recommend this to my friends.

Not up to Rhys’ normal standards!
Revisado: 01-14-22
I have read all of Her Majesty’s Service series, Venice sketchbook, above the bay of angels, and a few Murphy’s law books by Rhys and have enjoyed them all. However, Farleigh Field did not contain the level of story telling as the others. I missed the slight moments of humor and excitement found in her wither books.

Historia
The discovery of a young student floating face down in Lake Windermere, her naked skin almost translucent in the freezing water, looks like yet another tragic teen suicide. But the victim’s lack of clothes make forensic pathologist Beth Adams investigate further. Anything to distract her from the arrival of her abusive ex-boyfriend’s body on the mortuary table that morning. With witnesses keeping tight-lipped and any clues washed away by the tides, it’s up to Beth to find the evidence her team needs. But then another girl is found in the lake, this time still clinging to life.

Good, but a little bit confusing
Revisado: 02-15-20
I enjoyed the book, but there were a lot of one off small stories which lead to many characters to try to remember. The narrator was good and kept me interested, however we never got any answers to all the one off side stories.

Entertaining but predictable
Revisado: 12-29-19
The story kept me entertained for a short period but ending was fairly predictable. Seemed almost like it could be a Hallmark Movie. The narration was ok.
