Historia
Secretary of State Frank Malone has been kidnapped from his Cairo hotel - his security detail wiped out. President Natalie Cohen is left with several unacceptable options. It's time to think outside the box, and that can only mean one thing: the revival of the Presidential Agent program. Cohen calls for Charley Castillo to come out of retirement to direct a new Presidential Agent, one Captain P. K. "Pick" McCoy, USMC. Charley may be too old to kick down doors and take names, but Killer McCoy is just the man to get the job done.

Apologies, but I can't agree with some of you
Revisado: 12-09-24
I was excited when I got this book, then I started listening. The authors said they wanted to pay tribute to the previous authors, I don't think they succeeded. This book should have been about how Charlie and his Merry band of outlaws assisted the Sec Of State Cohen and her band of politicians in getting the looney out of the Oval Office and into a straight jacket. Then the wedding of him and Svety, the birth of their child, and a wrap on the Merry band as they ride off into the sunset. Then book 10 could have been the introduction of grandson Killer, and the new group as they learn their own way through the game as Charlie did. This would have also explained the angst that President Cohen had with restarting and continuing the program. I also couldn't grasp the timeline: in book 8 Charlie was mid thirties, and his grandmother was in her low seventies. In this book they're 15 years apart? How did that happen? Charlie and his band deserved a better ending, and McCoy didn't need Charlie to teach him anything.

Historia
In a memoir by turns moving, tragic, and hilarious, Jerry Lewis recounts with crystal clarity every step of a 50-year friendship, from the springtime, 1945 afternoon when the two vibrant young performers destined to conquer the world together met on Broadway and Fifty-fourth Street, to their tragic final encounter in the 1990s, when Lewis and his wife ran into Dean Martin, a broken and haunted old man.

Historia
"If Robert Littell didn't invent the American spy novel," says Tom Clancy, "he should have." In this spectacular Cold-War-as-Alice-in-Wonderland epic, Littell, "the American le Carre," takes us down the rabbit hole and into the labyrinthine world of espionage that has been the CIA for the last half-century. "Ostensibly a single novel, The Company can also be listened to as an anthology of cracking good spy stories," says ( Publishers Weekly).
