Historia
Gotrek and Felix: unsung heroes of the Empire, or nothing more than common thieves and murderers? The truth perhaps lies somewhere in between and depends entirely upon whom you ask.... Once companions on the greatest of adventures, Gotrek and Felix have long since gone their separate ways. Felix, married and settled, secretly craves the excitement of his youth. And when the opportunity arises, Felix embarks upon what might be his final journey. As the chaos of the End Times engulfs Kislev, Gotrek and Felix are reunited, battling the hordes of the Troll King alongside Ulrika, Snorri and Max.

Historia
In the hope of taming the Great Rift that divides the galaxy in two, Archmagos Belisarius Cawl invites representatives from across the Imperium to the artificial world of Pontus Avernes. Confident he can convince them of his genius, he must secure their assistance in unlocking the secrets of the pylon network – significant structures built by an ancient race that he believes can stave off the pull of the warp. But among the attendees is an uninvited guest: Fabius Bile himself.

Cawl... why?
Revisado: 01-04-24
This book is pretty good up until the very end. All the parts in the story feel organic (except maybe the knight scion bits) abd then the end comes along and screws it all up.
Spoilers ahead: So instead of having his semi-clone die, Cawl let's Bile run, threatening his plans due to marking him as a heretic, killing countless people due to the Primaris CSM that will now be a thing and then acting like the tradeoff was worth it.
For the smartest man alive, Cawl is surprisingly dumb.
