Disappointing and Boring

I have ALL of the In Death series and mark my calendar in anticipation of the new releases. I shouldn’t have bothered with this one. Some in this series have disappointed especially those that appear to have been written by a committee but most have been very good to great. This is the first that was BORING.

Where are the usual characters? They add warmth and interest to the stories. There was no mystery as we know ‘who done it’ about a fourth of the way in. It was a chore to finish.

Top 10% rated on enjoyment. This is not great literature. It IS lots of fun

There are three books by Molly Harper in this series. I recommend all for light fun entertainment. The target audience is women.

Enjoyable chic lit

This werewolf series is lots of fun. It has engaging characters, good plots and well written sex scenes. Amanda Ronconi brings the characters and stories to life. This is chic lit at its best.

Episode 1 was good but # 2 & 3 are not

Enjoyed the first episode BUT annoyed that the book was released in three separate segments instead of just one. We have to pay more money this way. Episode 1 was good enough that I bought episodes 2&3 as soon as I finished the first. This was a mistake. Episode 2 became tedious with way too many "monsters" and deadly events. I also wanted more details as to what was happening back in the US. Have started Episode 3 but won't finish it. It lacks the promise of #1 and isn't worth my time.

Good story but

Good story but missed the usual interplay and continued development of the series' characters. The dynamic between the regulars is what makes this series so special. Susan Eriksen is terrific as always.

A 'Must Read' Book

This book is for those who don't prepare all their food from scratch. Read this along with Pandora's Lunchbox. Together both detail what is wrong with our food today and help us understand the obesity crisis.

Should have been better

Starts out promising but doesn't really end. There are a number of unresolved issues. The characters need further development. The beginning was engaging and enjoyable but by the end the book was flat.

Fabulous

This is an extremely informative book. I found it so useful that I've given several copies to friends. I got a great deal out of the book in audio format but probably would have done better with a physical book. At least I would have know how to spell the unfamiliar elements in today's processed foods. I spent a lot of time on the internet learning more about what goes in to today's food. It is horrifying!

Not worth the time or money

The characters are unbelievable and poorly developed. The crimes and their execution are even less realistic. The actress does a good job but can't save this book.
