If you love certain history period books, you will love this series…book 1 was just not enough! This is a World War II story with intriguing espionage that keeps you guessing and the twist of a lesbian romance. Very well written by J.E, Leak, rich in details that take you right there to a certain point in time where people were struggling with recession, poisonous political and social environment, the shadow of a war threatening friendship and romance (wow does it resemble the 2020s?)
A period when big band music was a hit, smoking was charming, news in print was an essential commodity and gay bars were a well kept secret, a hidden place (speakeasy). What a trip to the past…

Pleasant Surprise

This is my first book by Roslyn Sinclair and I could not be more pleased. In this book she is ingenious, creating two very strong characters: one young, Gen Z, middle class, well-educated using its generations language and attitude; the other older, high class, elegant and mature Gen X woman using old-fashioned/classy speech from ages past. Both strong women, professionally driven, ambitious but approaching life in very different ways. Their interaction and intelligent dialogue is distinctive and intoxicating, evoking emotional reaction from the reader/listener. Knowledge of the fashion industry is a plus.
Abby Craden as always did an excellent job developing the voice of each character, the speech intonation, interpreting feelings, emotional state that takes the listeners right into the scenes and emotions.
By the way book 2 is equally great. Can’t wait for more…

Relaxing like Lavender

Melissa Brayden is back to original stories. The best book since the Savvy series in my opinion and Lula Larkin is a delicious discovery, love her voice and narration. She makes a huge difference in this story. Can't wait for what this due will come up with next.

Love Radclyffe and read/listened to everything she published so far, but I’m very fond of this particular book…it’s about love that never dies…it might be in the back burner for a while, simmering down and almost forgotten but then one event changes everything and the fire burns hot and stronger…Colleen Marlo does a great job in putting the right feelings in the dialogs…just awesome!

Producers: please review recording

This is a cool concept, different family members that are gay…series always attract my attention however audio producers: please review the recording, some chapters seem to be cut…this is more evident at the end of chapter 15 (track 17) and beginning of chapter 16 (track 18)…the recording seem to be missing the end of a sentence or paragraph. Please review.

I’m so happy to have come across Erin Zak. This is my first book by her, and I loved it. Had no idea she was our own local author. Love the fact that the story is set in St Pete, FL. Narrator is ok, I really enjoy when they have different voices for different characters however in a few cases I felt that the voice did not meet the right character but she clearly showed feelings in her speech. Totally worth it.

Sweet Hollywood story

A very sweet Hollywood story, A bit predictable but adorable. Perfect for younger audience. The narrators should have switched around.The voices seemed a bit incompatible with the characters. And they should show a bit more emotion. It’s worth listening though :)

Would you listen to Love's Melody Lost again? Why?

Yes, oh my gawd, this is the lesbian version of the Beauty and the Beast. Talented, powerful, beautiful, successful but very lonely and isolated master of the castle that falls for the kindness of the house keeper. I’m a Disney lover so this book took me back to all those sweet, lovely, dreamy stories….was very special …

What was one of the most memorable moments of Love's Melody Lost?

Again the parallel to the Beauty and the Beast…the moment when the “Beauty”starts bringing back the sweet and kindness of her master.

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

Paige McKinney: Good narrator but must slow down a bit – she reads/speaks so fast that the feelings of the moments are completely misinterpreted.

I’m not through listening this book yet but I chose it because these are 2 of my favorites: Author Georgia Beers and Narrator Abby Craden but please audio editors: Can you review this book? End of track 6, narrator says: "I seen to be missing page 56…
Just hope this doesn’t happen often "through the book…

Would you listen to Turn Back Time again? Why?

Yes, again and again. This was my first Radclyffe book and I’m hooked. I’ve been listening to anything that she publishes and this book started it all. The kind of story that anyone can relate to, clever, creative, clearly she put a lot of research into the medical field.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Turn Back Time?

When the “straight” woman makes the first move and spooks the lesbian… 
