Great story in the series!

I love a good redemption story! I think that the growth in the MCs connection was well done. The miscommunication (while never my favorite driving plot line) was well done. I really enjoyed getting to know this fictional family. I did feel like the wrap up was a little bit rushed, but at the same time I don’t know how it could have been drawn out in a satisfying way.
I do wish Astrid would get her own story… but that is just because I love seeing all family members paired off.

Hoping for answers

I was so bored! I was disappointed that only one question was ever answered. And it wasn’t answered until about the second to last chapter. Everything until then was just self destruction and dragged on.
I wish I hadn’t started this series until it was finished so that I could wrap up the mental space the theories I have are taking. I have enough intrigue in the plot that I want to know what is actually going on but I don’t care about the main characters.

The ending!!!

I was surprised by how much I enjoyed the ending. I was not connecting/liking the MC very much because it felt like it was the same issue on repeat. But dang that ending was so good and made it worth it!
