Accomplished the goal perfectly. It gives you a soothing voice with enough calm serene factual data to help your mind hang onto then release. For people with sleep anxiety or adhd it works great!

Was so excited but it wasn’t great

I love Abby Jimenez. Yours truly and part of your world were game changers. Funny, real, raw,awkwardness in the best way, serious intones, good solid push pull attraction… this, this was… flat, forced, try hard not inspired. You don’t get the attraction,m. There isn’t a spark in the beginning other than the narrator saying they’re attracted and attractive. The space ship scene was cute but not fly across the country cute. Comparing Xavier to Rhysand over and over felt forced. I was hoping Sam would be more realistically sassy or funny like Brianna.. Xavier is a robot. IDK it is just so ho hum boring. I know Abby is great and will feel refreshed and write one that’s more inspired! I know this will be put dead last since it’s not 5 stars but at least I’m honest.

Storyline has depth

I’ve listen to Part of Your World probably 4 times. Each time I pick up more, Neil’s plot is as important as Alexis and Daniel. We all want a Bri friend too. The depth of psychology keeps you hooked. The sprinkler of mystical energy creates an inseparable experience. Jimenez is funny too and her men are green flags. The green flags we need and want.

Boring, Is there a plot?

Came from the knockemout series. Woof, this book is vapid. I hope Lucy Score does more books like “things we never got over”. Executive likes a female employee, stalks her, makes her miserable and demands she quits the company so he can fuck her. That is the entire plot. Gross. Gross. Boring.

Made it to chapter 10 - DNF So Bad

Why? I’m not sure where to start. The narration is dual narrators but it’s read in third person. The characters speak in the whole book referring to their own name. The narrator will say what’s happening then say it again as a mental note. It’s horrible and confusing. Hix will say “Hixs liked her”. Ugh- then the lines are so cheesy with a few rogue bigger words to sound smarter. “A good looking hunka man, darling, snugglebug”. Get a different book. Update: I finished it and will say it got better. Complicated lives but believable. But the first person/third person writing style was horrible throughout and make it hard to imagine scenes.

Surprisingly good - no spoiler review

I don’t know why but at the beginning of books in the first two chapters I almost quit the book. Then I push through to see if I’ll like it. I’m glad I did [I loved this book] She works in so many themes and levels and realness and romance and angst all while making you believe it. She was really good and keeping cadence so new situations happened just at the right time, she drops little Easter eggs for clues later which I always enjoy. It’s good, keep going with it.

Great romantic reader starter book! A pure white innocent kindergarten teacher somehow becomes an erotic podcaster? Lol The narration is On Point. Very Minnesota Midwest culture.
