Me Time, was awesome
Revisado: 01-15-20
It must be at least 25 years since I read Wilbur Smith. It was great to enjoy "me time" and chill out and listen to this great story.
I enjoyed the pace, the plot. Some of the "scenes" were more than I could bear and it really makes me wonder how one can even imagine such horrific things, but the story line was captivating and I felt like a school kid having to sit quietly and listen when I should have been thinking about work. So all in all a great listen. Thank you.

Open your business AFTER you listen to this book!
Revisado: 12-13-19
As a small new business owner, man oh man, if I had listened to this first, I could have saved myself so much stress, heartache and more. I am so thankful I have listened and my second year in business will go a lot better as I implement what I have heard. Listened twice thru and could go a third round for sure and still learn new things. Even if your not a "god person" business owners could really benefit from what is here. Thank you TD Jakses

Expanding the world taking responsibility
Revisado: 11-03-19
What an eye opener. I never considered that even in this modern day and age, people are being subjected to shocking horrific imprisonment for the crime of being a follower of Jesus. Bob Fu, you have brought the plight of many to the world and I know you shall be truly blessed when the Saviour looks at all you have done thru Him and can say " Well Done my true and faithful servant."

Faith in Humanity
Revisado: 09-13-19
What a heart warming story. I enjoyed every moment. It is so well narrated and had me clutching the steering wheel as I drove to work, experiencing the story as it is so vividly explained, the struggles and the victories. A great listening experience to encourage my soul and restore faith in humanity who dedicate their lives to helping those without a voice.

Historia
One woman's struggle against the darkness of Hong Kong's drug dens. Until it was pulled down, the Walled City was Hong Kong's most foreboding territory. It was a lawless place, dominated by the Triads, and which the police hesitated to enter. Strangers were unwelcome. Drug smuggling and heroin addiction flourished, as did prostitution and pornography, extortion and fear. When Jackie Pullinger set sail from England in 1966 she had no idea that God was calling her to the Walled City.

What an awe inspiring story and I am motivated to find the courage to have the faith to even do half of what she did in my own back yard would be amazing. Well written, easy to listen to. I found driving to work has become a great time to listen to my audible books and I arrive at work inspired and ready for the day. Thank you for sharing your story!
