I really enjoyed this book, its definitely got a lot of character! That said, Cara is a very "real" character, she can be annoying and self righteous but it's because she has a lot of nuance and background we don't get much more than glimpses of, but it you can see the result of her past in her actions very clearly.
That said, if you hate early Ryoka, you are going to struggle with Cara.

An excellent conclusion to the Marva Collins series, I do hope we get to see more in the Solar Clipper universe but if not, I've very much enjoyed the ride.

I love this series and this is another fantastic book from Nathan Lowell.

There were some very minor audio errors when I listened, those have hopefully been fixed but if not they were very minor, mostly just a bad splice of two lines. it only happened a could times in the first few hours. I still thoroughly enjoyed the book.

Courtly intrigue

I liked this story, it took a little bit to get into since it thows you into the deep end of a kingdoms court but by the end I was very eager to find out what was going to happen to my favorite characters.

Wow, this book was great! I really enjoyed the characters. All the main cast were enjoyable and fun. The only bad part was when I finished and didn't have a third book to read right away.

A struggle

I wanted to like this book, its a fun setup but it's just too flawed for me.
I out right hated Dani, she's mercurial and let's towards being mean most of the time. When she gets a pet, she acts like her friends are stupid for being wary of a monster that just tried to kill them, then when Ronan is helped by a monster that demonstrates its desire to help, she treats it like a threat and him like an idiot for thinking a monster could be good. (After she literally did the same thing!)
Sam, Ronan, and Dani are supposed to be adults but they act like young teenagers most of the time.

I like the magic system and setup for that, I think its a neat approach and if it was just Ronan, I'd probably keep ready but I think this is where I'll get off for this series.

A fantastic ending

I've followed this story since Jack did it as a podcast and resisted finishing it until now because I wanted to end it the way I started it. If you've made it this far, then you will enjoy this book. If you are considering starting this series, then I can only encourage you to take this journey as well. While I'm sad the story has ended, I'm glad it did it as well as it did.
