a difficult but informative listen

Listening to audio books has made me realize how much I love the English language, and how much it bothers me to listen to incorrect grammar and awkward sentences. This book has a lot of good content, but it is far too wordy and it can be hard to listen to because of the aforesaid issues. I got through most of the book but abandoned it before I finished. I do think the Lean Six Sigma section in particular has a lot of good material.

love this author and this book!

The author is also the narrator, so if you are not good with Texan accents... you may be in trouble. Okay, not really. I have listened to a lot of instructional books, and this guy is especially good at overcoming the obstacles of teaching difficult concepts via audio book. He does a great job of reiterating difficult points and using examples to aid in learning. He also has a wacky sense of humor, which I love. Recommended highly!
