Historia
Melanie is a very special girl. Dr. Caldwell calls her "our little genius". Every morning, Melanie waits in her cell to be collected for class. When they come for her, Sergeant keeps his gun pointing at her while two of his people strap her into the wheelchair. She thinks they don't like her. She jokes that she won't bite, but they don't laugh. Melanie loves school. She loves learning about spelling and sums and the world outside the classroom and the children's cells. She tells her favorite teacher all the things she'll do when she grows up.

Great Read!!

I don't usually like "zombie" stories, but this one has a different take on that type of story line. The characters felt real and it was easy to develop attachments to them. I was sucked into the story quickly and had a hard time turning it off. The narrator did a fantastic job and the characters were easily discernible.

Very entertaining read!

I really enjoy light mystery books. This story met that goal. The narrator did a good job on the different character voices and made the story fun to listen to. I was happy to find that there are several more books already written for the series and I am looking forward to listening to them.
