I’m still not sure what the brothers were doing on the island the day she was meant to be rescued, but overall a good story. The foreshadowing was a little too obvious, but the romance was fun and cute.

I read this with my 4 and 6 year old. My 4 year old just loved the story. My 6 year old initiated so many great emotionally engaging questions from this story. If you don't talk to your kids about their feelings, this book might not be for you. If you work through things with your kids, you will love this book.

I had to listen to this on 3.5 speed. I knew exactly what was going to happen from the very beginning. There were no red herrings. Just blatant clues and obvious misdirection that left you thinking maybe there would be some plot twist, and that it couldn't be this poorly written. Wrong on both accounts. It is such a disappointment to end such an awesome trilogy in such an uninspired finale.

This book has you bouncing from laughing, to crying, to reminiscing. One of the best books I’ve read in a long time. It captures real emotions in a creative way and the characters feel like real people. 10/10
