Interesting but not compelling.

It took a long time to finish. Started another book because it didn’t seem to really go anywhere. I did return to finish.

Poor performance

The story was interesting, but performance left much to be desired. Two readers that only read. Did not get into characters and make them live. Gave them 5 hours of my time hoping would get better, finally abandoned the whole story.
