I loved her sharing of the vulnerability and strength. I always prefer when an author reads her own story.

Historia
After Tova Sullivan’s husband died, she began working the night shift at the Sowell Bay Aquarium, mopping floors and tidying up. Keeping busy has always helped her cope, which she’s been doing since her eighteen-year-old son, Erik, mysteriously vanished on a boat in Puget Sound over thirty years ago. Tova becomes acquainted with curmudgeonly Marcellus, a giant Pacific octopus living at the aquarium. Marcellus knows more than anyone can imagine but wouldn’t dream of lifting one of his eight arms for his human captors—until he forms a remarkable friendship with Tova.

Returned - Couldn't be more boring for me
Revisado: 08-16-23
Honestly, this was not a very good audiobook for learners of the Spanish language. It is dull, spends so much time on so little vocab (multiple lessons asking "are you a blogger? are you a personal trainer?" and no real grammar either. I gave it 10 lessons worth and fast forwarded through so many because I just couldn't take the redundancy and irrelevancy to learning Spanish. Do yourself a favor and go get Pimsleur.

Pretty well done psychological thriller
Revisado: 05-30-20
Just a little bit slow for me and a predictable who done it. I found the main character too annoying though. The writing itself was good.

I've read all of Rachel Abbott's books and this one let me down. She usually has some good surprises but not this time. It's so similar to other stories she wrote that I was literally bored and waiting for something different, but no.

Revisado: 03-14-20

It will make you appreciate him, his life, his story and his music - indeed, music in general - in a way you can't even imagine.
