Historia
When Murph Cooper rocks up to his new school, he can't help but feel a bit out of his depth. And it's not because he's worried about where to sit, and making friends, and fitting in, or not knowing where the loos are. It's because his mum has enrolled him at a school for superheroes by mistake. And unlike his fellow students Murph has no special abilities whatsoever. But just because you don't have superpowers, it doesn't mean you can't save the day....

Something different for me

LOVED IT. WORTH THE LISTEN! I have never read/listened to a story structured as just a series of telephone calls. The story captured my full attention from the start and I was on the edge of my seat until the end.

I didn't want this to end...
Revisado: 03-23-16
As a single parent to a little girl whose father is completely absent, I doubt myself daily and am constantly in my head thinking that I'm literally messing my child up for life. More times than not, I feel that no one understands me or the struggle I feel trying to make sure I give her the best chance at life that I possibly can. After listening I feel 200% better and am excited to implement much of what I learned. I will listen again and again because I need this confirmation that I'm on the right track but there are areas for improvement (obviously) and this helps me find ways to improve that are beneficial to us. This is what I LOVE about Brené Brown! She does not tell you "here...this is a sure fire way to get the result you want." She gives you the insight and the tools to learn what is best for you and your situation.

At the age of thirty-six, on the verge of completing a decade’s worth of training as a neurosurgeon, Paul Kalanithi was diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer. Simply put...PERFECTION! I'm sure I experienced every emotion known to man during this reading. Many thanks to Paul and his family for seeing his book through to the end. Err the end of yet another beginning...
